I don’t think I could say enough about the dogs who have graced us with their presence at the ranch, and if I did, I’d end up writing another book. Each of our dogs has its extraordinary personalities their stories; some happy, some adventurous, others sad, but always courageous.

Tequila, the six-month-old Border Collie who brought Raul and me together, formed a bond between Raul and I and our canine companions that undoubtedly will last a lifetime. When I met Tequila and Raul, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself where I am today?

Long after Tequila passed, we met Minnie, another Border Collie who pranced and smiled (yes, she smiled) her way into our lives with her sweet and gentle temperament. Minnie came with a long story behind her, one I referred to earlier as stories of courage, adventure, and sadness, but despite what life brought her, she remained loving and kind no matter the circumstances.
