My Dad, The Hero of My Life

Dear Dad,

You are my Hero and always have been, although I don’t think I’ve ever told you why. I think of you every day. My heart swells with pride when I remember everything we did together or when I relay a story or something you said.

During those years when Mom had so much trouble, I was six or seven years old at the time; I remember calling you at your office and asking when you were coming home. I was scared, but I knew you would magically fix everything if you were by my side.
